Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Install on Quest, in the card above, is the one-click USB install. These steps are the manual path (SideQuest or ADB).

Overview

Rail Chase 2 VR brings Sega's ride-on rail shooter to Meta Quest 3 and 3S in stereo VR with head tracking and tracked guns. It is a public beta. The routes, audio and cabinet logic come from your own game data.

[!NOTE] No game files included. You need the Revision A rchase2.zip with all 23 required payloads. Older 21-file sets are incomplete. If the files are split, also provide segabill.zip. No CHD is required.

Prerequisites

  • Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S.
  • Your own Rail Chase 2 Revision A rchase2.zip.

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Install the APK via 1-click on QuestPorts or download rail-chase-2-vr-quest.apk from GitHub Releases.
  2. Put rchase2.zip (and segabill.zip if your set is split) into /sdcard/Download/. Keep them packed.
  3. Open Rail Chase 2 - VR4ALL from Unknown Sources and finish the ROM check on the setup screen.
  4. Play. Both native player inputs and the VR4ALL settings menu are available.

[!TIP] Quest 3S play has been observed. The measured scene runs at about 82 to 90% of full speed, and longer routes and Quest 3 are still unverified.

Troubleshooting & Tips

Use the complete Revision A rchase2.zip with all 23 payloads; older 21-file sets are rejected. Keep it zipped. If the setup screen cannot find it, check that it sits directly in /sdcard/Download/.
